Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 33rd European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society meeting that is due to take place in Bruges, Belgium from April 2nd to April 5th 2014. We are honoured and privileged to act as your hosts. The goal of this meeting is to promote the transfer of knowledge in all aspects of the field of paediatric orthopaedics.
A Pre-Meeting course on «Genetics: Clinical Implications for Paediatric Orthopaedics» will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday April 2nd, 2014 before the official opening of the meeting and the evening reception. Leading experts in this field will present up-to-date overviews on aspects of this challenging topic.
At the Annual Meeting, besides oral presentations, traditional posters, e-posters and lunch workshops, the congress will feature specialised symposia concentrating on specific aspects of Children’s Orthopaedics with invited speakers giving key-note presentations. We hope that all these will interest you and meet your needs for a programme of continuing education.
The venue is situated in the heart of the beautiful city of Bruges, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. The city, which is readily accessible through public transport, radiates beauty, history and romance. We guarantee that your visit will be a memorable experience!
The organising committee is doing its very best to put together an exciting scientific as well as social programme and is already looking forward to receiving your abstract submissions in due course.
Most of all we look forward to welcoming you personally in Bruges in order to make this 33rd annual EPOS meeting both a scientific and social success!
